When and where does the Board of County Commissioners meet?
The 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month for regular meetings which normally begin at Noon.
Work Sessions are each Tuesday, with the exception of 5th Tuesdays, and normally begin at 10:00 am.
Meetings are held in the Commissioners meeting room on the first floor of the Courthouse Plaza Building, 530 E. Main Street (behind the Clerk & Recorder's office).

How can I get an item on a Board of County Commissioner's meeting agenda?

. Give plenty of lead time as agendas fill up quickly.
How can I make a public comment at a meeting?
Public comment is held at the beginning of each Regular meeting (2nd & 4th Wednesday) at Noon. In consideration of other citizens, please limit your comments to 3-5 minutes.
What is the difference between a work session and a regular meeting?
At a Work Session the Board typically gathers information, discusses procedures and gives direction to County staff members. No formal action is taken during a Work Session.
At a Regular Meeting resolutions, ordinances and land use items are presented and formal action is taken.
