Employees will demonstrate the ability to recognize the environmental implications of actions and seek alternatives which minimize the impact of our daily routines, our programs and projects on the environment. The City of Aspen uses a system of measured goals and outcomes to manage and organize the city-wide environmental protection goals and assists us with our commitment for continued improvement.
As stewards of our environment, we will consider the environmental impact of the various alternatives, and favor actions and projects that enhance or protect the environment while still achieving our mission and goals.
We are committed to exceeding minimum compliance with applicable environmental laws, regulations and other relevant standards in all of our operations and to minimizing the environmental impacts of our activities.
