Integrated Pest Management
There are many ways to control pests and keep your lawn free of weeds. We encourage you to talk to your licensed pesticide applicator about integrated pest management.
Integrated pest management (IPM) is a common-sense method used to eliminate pests. The foundation of IPM is that pests need food, water and shelter to survive. If you take these things away from them, they will leave to find new resources.
By using best management practices and the IPM guidelines, you and your lawn and tree care professional should be able to effectively get rid of pests with minimal chemical use. It is important to note that IPM plans can include the targeted use of pesticides as part of an array of control measures.
