Support Locally Grown Food and Flowers
The average bite of food travels 1500 miles to get to your table. By eating locally grown food, you help reduce greenhouse gasses, and get fresher food that is tastier and more nutritious - all while supporting the local economy.
Sign Up for A Share in Community Supported Agriculture (CSA)
CSAs allow you to purchase local, seasonal food directly from a farmer. Farmers offer a certain number of "shares" to the public just like a subscription. A typical share is a weekly box of whatever vegetables are in season. You can also find farmers who offer fruit shares, flower shares, and herb shares.
