SHARE the information on this website with parents and others in your community.
FIND OUT if your child's teacher / care-giver receives paid sick and vacation leave, health insurance, paid planning or professional development time, lunch breaks, and other benefits
SUPPORT efforts to improve working conditions and benefits received by early childhood programs staff.
INSIST on quality for the children and for the teachers - what are the group size and ratios of adults to children in your child's program? Is your program working on quality - are they nationally accredited - are they working on a quality improvement plan using the environmental rating scales?
FIND out if your employer, or your business can lend their expertise in human resource management, technical trainings, or other business skills that would benefit early childhood programs.
WRITE to your elected officials - local, state and federal - and tell them how you depend on high quality programs and how their costs affect you.
ASK your employer to join the growing number of businesses that provides childcare benefits to their employees.
JOIN with child and family advocates working to improve program quality at all levels.
