Public Parking:

Paid Parking is available throughout the downtown with 850 parking spaces on street and 340 parking spaces in the Rio Grande Parking Garage. (Short-term parking in downtown Aspen is available for up to four hours.)

Commuters may buy a day pass for the residential parking area or park in the Rio Grande Parking garage.

Residential Day Passes ($7.00) are available for all-day parking.

You can purchase the day passes at the following locations:

  •  Airport Parking Kiosk
  •  Aspen Parking Dept.
  •  City Market
  •  Wheeler Opera House

Businesses located in the residential parking area may get one parking permit when they present their City of Aspen business license. Businesses in the core may get a 6 month permit for the residential area for $500.00 when they present their business license and pay with a company check or credit card.

Carpooling:

Carpools of two or more adults are eligible for free carpool permits for parking in residential or carpool zones. These passes are available at the kiosk located on the Airport frontage road.
