Description: Join Roaring Fork Conservancy, City of Aspen Open Space Program, and Aspen Historical Society for a historical look at mining and its effects on our local rivers. The program will include an introduction at the Holden/Marolt Mining Museum and a walking tour of Lixiviation Works ruins along Castle Creek. Discover how mining changed the health of our rivers and what currently threatens the health of our rivers.
