To request a copy of an Aspen Arrest History report, please complete a Request for Criminal Arrest Record form. You can obtain a form in the following ways:
- Download a request form online.
- Call Records at (970) 429-1852 to have a request form sent to you.
- Contact Records by email to have a request form sent to you.
- Stop by in person to pick up a request form.
Completed forms can be faxed, mailed, scanned and emailed, or hand-delivered to the APD Records Office (located in the Pitkin County Jail building, behind the Courthouse at 506 E. Main Street). No reports will be released without a signed and completed request form and payment of the appropriate fees. The fee for an Aspen Criminal Arrest History is $10.00.
Requestors will receive one of the following:
- If an Aspen record exists, the requestor will receive a list of arrests on file with the Aspen Police. Juvenile arrests will not be included. For information on the official court dispositions of arrests please contact the Pitkin County Combined Court at 970-925-7635.
- If there are no Aspen Police arrests on file, the requestor will receive a clearance letter.

- To obtain your personal FBI Identification Record visit www.fbi.gov/hq/cjisd/fprequest.htm. Reasons an individual may request a copy of his or her own Identification Record include employment or licensing within the United States, international adoption, or to satisfy a requirement to live or work in a foreign country.
