The Aspen Police Department takes pride in providing the most up-to-date, accurate information to the media and members of the general public. In an effort to maintain this standard the department has shifted from traditional e-mail based press release distribution, to utilizing Pitkin Alert.
Pitkin Alert allows users to receive free alerts via text message, email, voice or pager. Below are a list of groups the Aspen Police Department typically sends alerts to:
