2011 Pitkin County Resident Waste Allowance
This year, each household will receive a $100.00 credit to be used on any incoming material. This waste allowance replaces all previous programs and credits that were given, such as the PunchPass, hazardous waste, electronics, grass and leaves.
In order to streamline using the credit you will not be issued an actual card this year. Once we have you set up in the system you will need to show your ID when you come in and we will run a tally on your account! We can also let you know how much credit you have left.
Christmas trees from households will continue to be free December through February.
As with previous years, 2 forms of ID will be needed to show that you are a PitkinCounty resident. Please see the form for acceptable identifications.
Download the 2011 Pitkin County Resident Waste Allowance form and bring it to the landfill with your identifications. You may also fill out the form in our office.
