Patrol
Performs traffic patrol and accident investigation:

- Non-injury accident investigation
- CSP assist in major accident investigations
- Routine traffic monitoring and patrol
- Vehicles abandoned on public property only
Conducts mountain rescue operations
- Acts as the command center for coordinating all mountain rescue field work
Coordinates any type of incident/command situation (i.e., plane crashes, hostage negotiation situations)
- Investigates miscellaneous complaints:
- Suspicious persons
- Noise complaints
- Hazards (i.e., snow slides, floods, etc)
Responds to individual requests for service:
- Missing persons
- Emergency messages
- Welfare checks
- Lost and found reports
Staffs a full time juvenile officer
