School Resource Officers

The Pitkin County Sheriff’s Office, in conjunction with the Aspen Police Department, have stationed one Deputy Sheriff and one Police Office at the campus of the Aspen School District. These two law enforcement officer provide emergency services to the campus at all times during the school day, teach a class called Street Law at the High School, and provide the students on campus a valuable resource to assist with their problems as they come up.
