Bomb Threat at Carl’s Pharmacy

 

ASPEN, CO – 05/14/2010 – Today, Friday May 14, 2010 at 12:31PM the Aspen Pitkin County Communications Center received a 911 call from Carl’s Pharmacy, 306 East Main Street, advising they had received a call from an unknown male saying there was a bomb in the building. Members of the Aspen Police, Aspen Volunteer Fire Department, and Aspen Ambulance responded to the scene per protocol.

 

Carl’s Pharmacy and the area surrounding have been searched, with nothing suspicious being located. Employees and customers were voluntarily evacuated pending the continuation of the investigation. Aspen Police officers continue to investigate this case with assistance from the Pitkin County Sheriff’s Office to attempt to identify the caller and determine the credibility of this threat.
