Spring Clean Up
Each spring around the middle of May the Street Department provides a large item trash removal service for the citizens of Aspen. Only residents who have made arrangements for a trash pickup will receive this service. Please call the Street Department with any questions at 920-5130.
**Your name and address must appear on the list in order for us to pick up anything from your address. There is no exception to this requirement.**
Scheduled for May 7 thru May 11, 2012.
Call 920-5130, no later than 3PM on May 4, 2012, to schedule your pick up.
Put into separate piles of:
Branches/Woods – 8 feet or less in length, anything longer will be left
Metals
Trash
Tires
Grasses and leaves in certified compostable bags
We cannot take the following items:
Household garbage
- Construction debris
Batteries
Paint
Oil
Refrigerators/Freezers
Hazardous waste of any type
Anything with a memory chip - call 920-5039 for information on the electronic/computer drop off. Business on May 11th and Residential on May 12, 2012
Waste should be placed at the curb with the branches/wood parallel to the street, or the same direction as the street.
We do not pick up from the alley, no exceptions.
