Due to the mountainous terrain of Pitkin County, it is impossible to directly receive television and radio broadcast signals. Therefore, the Translator Advisory Board for Broadcast Services (TAB) will provide the Pitkin County Board of Commissioners with input concerning operations of an economical system for re-broadcasting of television and radio signals for the citizens of Pitkin county

Membership is open to residents who live full time in translator reception area with preference given to Pitkin County residents (Non-Pitkin County residents are accepted). Effort is made to have representatives from Aspen, Basalt/Emma, Crystal/Redstone, Meredith/Thomasville, and Woody Creek/Capitol/Snowmass Creek Valleys.
