The Utility Billing Department provides billing service for Water and Electric Departments within Aspen and outlying urban areas.
The Utility Billing Department maintains information on over 5,800 electric and water accounts, including utility connection and billing requests, Aspen cross connect program, delinquent customer collections, and customer account correspondence. We also respond to utility customer's inquires and complaints concerning meter reading, billing and accounting procedures.
We assist and inform customers, other City departments and City Council when requested, and produce accurate, timely water and electric bills.
