ACES

ZGREEN SUMMIT BUSINESS!

ZGreen Point Total: 92

ACES 2010 ZGreen Checklist (pdf)

2007 Checklist (pdf)

ACES logoIn March 2007, the Aspen Center for Environmental Studies' Hallam Lake Nature Preserve and the Learning Center became the very first ZGreen-certified business. In March 2009, they became the second business to achieve ZGreen Summit status, which requires a score of at least 75 points on the ZGreen checklist. At 92 points, ACES has the highest number of points on the ZGreen checklist of any business in Aspen.

The Hallam Lake Nature Preserve and Learning Center are places to discover and study natural communities. The preserve has been permanently set aside to protect plants and animals native to the Aspen area.

The ZGreen Program appreciates ACES for serving as a role model for other Aspen businesses and for its commitment to the community and environment!
