The City of Aspen’s Climate Action Plan, adopted in 2007, sets goals for emissions reductions and provides a blueprint of how to meet those goals. The emissions reductions goals were set based on scientific research from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change. The Climate Action Plan is a living document that serves as a guiding document for the City’s policy and programming decisions.
