April 26—Eco Garden Session—“Learn to garden in a way that regenerates the earth while providing healthy food”—Eden Vardy, Executive Director, Aspen T.R.E.E. and Paul Huttenhower, program director, Aspen T.R.E.E.  www.aspen-tree.org

            Eden Vardy and Paul Huttenhower will jointly present a How To guide for ways YOU can benefit from their knowledge and experience of permaculture techniques honed in this valley and at this altitude.  Practical and hands on tips and tactics you can take away to improve your own methods and garden.

They will also explain the Aspen TREE mission, direction and programs—such as “Earth Keepers” –a day camp for 6-11 year olds, “Mud Camp Sessions”—a solar, outdoor kitchen—focusing on how to “mud build” your own—“rocket stove,” “parabolic solar cooker,” “solar oven”  “Farmyard and Me” program-for parents and their kids, the “Chicken Co-op” a working membership for families to raise and gather eggs, the “Greenhouse Co-op” an almost off the grid/renewable tropical greenhouse working membership-how to trade an hours labor for box of produce
