The City of Aspen wishes everyone a happy, healthy and fun evening this New Year's Eve. Here are a few tips to planning your evening:
Head to Wagner Park at 5 p.m. for some free, family fun. We'll have a bonfire, bouncy house, sleigh rides, and even free ice skating at the Silver Circle Rink. The family events are all free and last until 8 p.m.
An early fireworks show will be at 8 p.m., with another display at midnight. The fireworks will be off of Aspen Mountain.
Following the 8 p.m. fireworks show, there will be a D.J. and bonfire in Wagner Park.
Want to do something inside? Irish tenor Ronan Tynan will be performing at the Wheeler Opera House at 8 p.m. Tickets are still available.
Curious about transit and parking?

If you must drive, carpool with a group of friends and select at least one designated driver.
