The current Burlingame Phase II design effort is intended to provide our community with the information needed to make educated decisions with regard to planning for the potential future development of affordable workforce housing at Burlingame Ranch, Aspen’s premier, family-oriented affordable housing community.
We've already held an open house at Burlingame (in the Commons Building) to talk with people who live in Phase I about what they would like to see in Phase II. We've also held a meeting with stakeholders and individuals who have been involved in previous city boards and projects.
On Tuesday night, we're meeting with the community at large to discuss the project, what it might look like, etc.
Discussion topics will include:
• Introduction to the design team, process and schedule
• Density agreement
• Site constraints and opportunities
• Concept Master Plan
• Housing Development & Policy Discussion
It's a drop-by meeting from 5:30 to 7:30 in the Rio Grande Meeting Room (old youth center) on Tuesday, April 27. Hopefully some snacks will entice you. But if you can't make it, be sure to check out the Phase II Website here and leave any comments here.
