Effective June 1st, the city of Aspen requires that have a bear-resistant
container for "day of pick-up". If you have questions or need help, please call

Changes to City Trash Ordinances
The Aspen Police Department, in cooperation with the City of Aspen, brought
forth changes to the Wildlife Ordinance regarding wildlife resistant refuse
containers. As of March 8, 2010 the Aspen City Council approved changes to: Day
of Pick-Up, Registration of Refuse Containers, and Construction Site
