Toxicology Reports Reveal Aldrich Alcohol Content

In reference to the Pitkin County Coroner's Office Investigation pertaining to the death of George W Aldrich II, toxicology results have indicated that the blood alcohol content was 294mg% which is slightly higher than three and a half times the legal driving limit.

Coroner: Man's Death Was Accidental Due to Fall from Bridge

The Pitkin County Coroner’s office has investigated the death of George W. Aldrich, II, age 28. The death was also investigated by the Aspen Police Department and the Colorado Bureau of Investigation.

The Aspen Police Department confirms that the investigating team has positively identified the body found under the Maroon Creek Bridge in Aspen as that of missing Snowmass Village resident George Aldrich.

Body Suspected to be Missing Man

Agents from the Colorado Bureau of Investigation arrived late Monday on the scene of a body located Monday afternoon in Aspen under the Maroon Creek Bridge.

The body is suspected to be that of missing Snowmass Village resident George Aldrich, who has been missing since the evening of Nov. 27.
