Mountain Rescue Aspen Receives Grant From Survivor

Aspen, Colorado – December 07, 2011 - On November 27, 1977, a private plane took off from Aspen in winter conditions as a snow squall moved across the end of the runway. Shortly after takeoff, all communication with the aircraft was lost. It was likely the plane had gone down.
