The public is invited to give input on the Burlingame Ranch
Phase II design this Tuesday, April 27, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the Rio
Grande Meeting Room (the old youth center).
“The design process for Burlingame Ranch Phase II has just
begun, and we would like to invite everyone to participate in a public open
house design session,” said Chris Everson, affordable housing project manager
for the City of Aspen. “As community members, you have unique knowledge about
what this community needs when it comes to affordable housing. The design team
would like to hear your valuable input.”
The goal for Burlingame Phase II is to create a neighborhood
environment that will become an asset to the community through well‐informed
stakeholder input. This public session is intended to be highly interactive,
and all feedback and comments will be recorded. This is an open‐house‐style
meeting, so everyone should feel free to drop in at any time during the
session.
Discussion topics will include:
• Introduction to the design team, process and schedule
• Density agreement
• Site constraints and opportunities
• Concept Master Plan
• Housing Development & Policy Discussion
Food and beverages will be provided. For more information, click here.
