Parenting Safe Children Workshop April 30

Aspen, Colorado – April 26, 2012– In conjunction with Month of the Young Child a Parenting Safe Children workshop is being offered Monday, April 30 from 5-9pm at the Health and Human Services Building in Aspen. 

The workshop will specifically address preventing child sexual abuse by creating a communication rich environment for children and empowering them to set and maintain boundaries.  The workshop will be led by Feather Berkower, a licensed clinical social worker with a MSW from the University of California, Berkeley.  The workshop is $25.  Register at ainhoa.bujan@co.pitkin.co.us or call 429-2046.  More information at www.parentingsafechildren.com
