City Sponsors Electronic Waste Collection Events

Aspen, Colorado – August 21, 2013 - The City of Aspen’s Environmental Health Department is sponsoring two e-waste collection events for residents and businesses.
On Sunday, August 25th from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. residents can drop off a wide array of unwanted electronic items for responsible recycling at the Community Bank parking lot off Mill Street. Businesses can arrange appointments for e-waste pick-up for a small fee on Monday, August 26th by calling 303-522-9672 or sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
This collection event provides an opportunity for the community to safely dispose of old televisions, monitors, computers, laptops, tablets, cell phones, printers, fax machines, keyboards, mice, stereo equipment, servers, telecom equipment, DVD players, battery backups and UPS power supplies, network equipment, servers, telecom equipment, copy machines and more.
