Public Meeting on Stormwater Manual Set
The Aspen City Council will hold a public hearing on the final draft of the updated Urban Runoff Management Plan (Manual) on Monday, June 7, during their regularly scheduled meeting in Council Chambers at 5 p.m.
The manual contains design criteria and technical guidance for addressing stormwater drainage for development and redevelopment in Aspen.
“If Council adopts this ordinance, the quality of stormwater runoff will be improved from developed and redeveloped sites,” said City Stormwater Engineer April Barker. “Sites would be encouraged to reduce runoff, thereby reducing stormwater pollutants, and would be required to capture a volume of runoff from their site for removal of stormwater pollutants.”
