ZGreen to Host 'Green Drinks' in Aspen
The City of Aspen’s ZGreen Program will be hosting a Green Drinks event at the Sky Hotel on Thursday, June 10, complete with a cruiser bike ride.
“Green Drinks is a national organization that encourages cities and towns to host regular public get-togethers for people interested in environmental issues,” said Ashley Cantrell, who helps run the ZGreen program for the City of Aspen. “These events are a great opportunity to meet others working in the environmental field or those involved in environmental topics. Green Drinks is now international, providing fun networking opportunities all around the globe.”
The cruiser bike ride will start at 5 p.m. at Paepcke Park and will end at the Sky at 5:30 for appetizers and drink specials.
The Sky Hotel, a ZGreen-certified business, is proud to host Aspen’s first Green Drinks. The event will also be a celebration for the Sky Hotel’s recent Green Seal Certification. They are the first hotel in Colorado to receive this certification. Attendees are asked to join in the celebration by wearing something green.
