'Green Drinks' Event in Aspen
The City of Aspen ZGreen Program will be hosting a Green Drinks event at Rowland and Broughton Architecture and Urban Design on Wednesday, August 18, from 5 to 7 p.m., complete with a cruiser bike ride.

Green Drinks is a national organization that encourages cities and towns to host regular public get-togethers for people interested in environmental issues.

“These events are a great opportunity to meet others working in the environmental field or those involved in environmental topics,” said Ashley Cantrell, environmental health specialist with the City of Aspen. “Green Drinks is now international, providing fun networking opportunities all around the globe, and we now have it in Aspen. The event will be a great opportunity to meet others in the environmental field and celebrate summer with ZGreen.”

Rowland and Broughton Architecture and Urban Design, a ZGreen-certified business, is proud to host Aspen’s Green Drinks.

The cruiser bike ride will start at 5 p.m. at Paepcke Park and will end at the party at Rowland and Broughton Architecture (117 South Monarch) at 5:30 for appetizers and beer.

For an invite to this event, call 970-429-1798 or e-mail zgreen@ci.aspen.co.us. For more information on green drinks visit http://www.greendrinks.org/index.php?city=Press. For more information on ZGreen, visit www.aspenzgreen.com.
