Community Picnic on Sept. 12
Free food, miniature golf, fishing in the pond, kite flying, tennis, music! Sound like fun?

Then head on out to the Aspen Golf Club on Sunday, September 12 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. for the Annual City of Aspen Community Picnic. This event will start at 11 a.m. with a BBQ style lunch for the first 750 people provided by Red Mountain Grill.

Then at 1:45 p.m. head on over to the driving range to the 2nd Annual Mow Down Pollution race. Sign up to compete in head to head competition to see who can push their mower to the finish line first. Winners from each race will be entered into a drawing to win a push mower.

Smile! Immediately following the Mow Down pollution event the community photo will be taken at 2 p.m. on the driving range.

Don’t forget to go car free and walk, ride, bus or carpool to the event. There is no parking available at the golf course or on Cemetery Lane. Park at the Aspen Middle School and take the RFTA shuttle on the :00 and :30 after each hour from Aspen Middle School to the golf course. Shuttle service beings at 10:30 a.m. Shuttle returns on the :15 and :45 after each hour from the golf course beginning at 10:45 a.m. Service will run from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
