Gas-Powered Leaf Blowers Banned
The City of Aspen would like to remind residents, workers and visitors that gas-powered leaf blowers are banned in Aspen due to their noise and harmful emissions.
“If you see your landscaper using one, please inform them of this rule,” said Environmental Health Program Coordinator Jannette Whitcomb, who added that educating users is the first step towards changing behavior. “Landscapers may use electric leaf blowers, which are available at local retailers and online.”
