Alpine Bank Named 2010 TOP Employer
The City of Aspen has named Alpine Bank the Transportation Options Program (TOP) 2010 Employer of the Year.
“We would like to recognize and congratulate Alpine Bank for its commitment to alternative commuting,” said Lynn Rumbaugh, transportation program manager for the City of Aspen.
The company offers its employees a Carpool Bytes intranet page as a tool for forming carpool groups. Alpine Bank is also a corporate member of the City of Aspen’s CAR TO GO carshare program, allowing its employees to reach meetings and run errands while still walking, cycling or taking the bus to work. Alpine Bank is currently using a grant to test a rewards program for its many alternative commuters.
The Transportation Options Program (TOP) offers free transportation services to Aspen employers. Sponsored by the City of Aspen, the TOP program currently serves over 40 employers by providing grant opportunities, emergency ride home services, transportation alerts and more.
