City Extends Public Comment on Hydro
In response to public requests for more time, the City of Aspen has extended the 90-day public comment period to provide input on its draft application with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) for a hydro plant.
The deadline has been extended from Tuesday, January 18, to Friday, January 21. Also, when the final application for the Castle Creek hydro project is filed with FERC, the public will have an additional 60 days to provide feedback on the project.
