The City of Aspen is now selling surplus supplies and property through an Internet government auction Website. Please visit www.publicsurplus.com for current items for sale. The site is updated as the auction proceeds and when new items become available.
“Public Surplus only allows government entities to sell items through their auction, although anyone can purchase/bid,” said Rebecca Hodgson, purchasing officer for the City of Aspen. “Departments who have surplus property must first offer the item to other City departments. If there are no takers, then the item may be submitted for auction.”
Current auction items for the City include a fax machine, a microwave and a plotter/printer.
