The City of Aspen will be holding a public meeting regarding proposed stormwater regulations contained in the draft Urban Runoff Management Plan.
The meeting will be Wednesday, March 3, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the Rio Grande Meeting Room at 455 Rio Grande Place.
Following a brief presentation on the proposed regulations, public comment will be accepted. The Urban Runoff Management Plan will be presented to Aspen City Council on March 22 for first reading.
“These are the regulations that guide development and redevelopment in Aspen as they pertain to drainage and stormwater,” said April Barker, stormwater engineer for the City. “This is an important step for Aspen to incorporate water quality standards in a clear way.”
