ASPEN, COLO. (March 3, 2010) – Have a child entering kindergarten and not sure what to expect? Kids First and the Garfield County DHS Childcare Program are offering a series of free panel discussions on Entering Kindergarten. The panels are a dialogue between families, early childhood teachers and local kindergarten teachers.
The final panel discussion will take place in Aspen on March 10 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Yellow Brick, 215 N Garmisch.
“Come to find out what you need to know from your local schools about your child starting kindergarten,” said Kids First Director Shirley Ritter. “Schools represented at the Aspen panel include Aspen Elementary, Aspen Community School, Aspen Country Day and Basalt Elementary.”
