Budget
Coordinates the development of the County budget and financial projections. Oversees the appropriations process.

Office Supply Procurement
Dedicated to achieving efficiency and enabling productivity through the centralized acquisition of routine office products and administration of office machine procurement and maintenance.

Use Tax Administration
Use Tax. The Pitkin County Finance Department coordinates the collection of the County's 0.5% use tax on construction and building materials; anyone doing construction and building work in Pitkin County must obtain an use tax license and file periodic use tax returns. The Finance Department issues County use tax licenses, records County use tax returns, and performs administrative and enforcement/audit functions.

Sales Tax. Pitkin County is State-Collected for retail sales taxes, and does not require a retail sales tax or business license in addition to those issued by the State of Colorado Department of Revenue.
