The Fleet Department manages and maintains the County vehicle/equipment fleet in a manner to provide safe, low cost, and appropriately designed equipment to user departments.

Services provided

• Formulates and implements County vehicle policies.
• Serves as the cost center for the management and maintenance of all County vehicles and rolling stock equipment
• Tracks County vehicles thru computer fueling system
• Manages capital replacements and improvements
• Provides specification writing for procurement, procurement documents and contract production, bidding and award analysis
