Health & Human Services is an administrative office of Pitkin County. Health & Human
Services helps support the non-profit health & human service agencies that are committed
to strengthening the quality of life for residents of the Roaring Fork Valley with equity
regarding race, gender, age and income. These agencies provide a continuum of health
care and human services including education, prevention, treatment, intervention and
outreach programs in an effort to meet evolving social, emotional and physical needs of
the members of our community. Each agency works to empower individuals to effect change
in their own life; as a result the community as a whole benefits and grows.
Pitkin County Health & Human Service grants provide support to private non-profit organizations that provide critical health and human
services to people who live or work in Pitkin County.
The Schultz Health and Human Services Building is located at 0405 Castle Creek Road in Aspen, across from Aspen Valley Hospital.
Pitkin County provides the office space to the
non-profits located at the Schultz Building as an in-kind donation.
