Board of Trustees

The Open Space and Trails Board (OSTB) is considered a policy/advisory board for Pitkin County. The OSTB is comprised of five volunteer citizens, one from each of the five commissioner districts. Trustees are appointed by the Board of County commissioners and serve a term of five years, staggered so that one term expires each year. Trustees may not hold any other county or municipal office, and may not be employed by a municipality or county, and serve on the Board without pay.
