How do I get a liquor license?
Liquor license applications are reviewed by the Local Liquor Authority on the first Tuesday of the month.
There are extensive requirements and a check list is available in our department. The process takes 6 - 8 weeks.
How do I get a special event liquor permit?
In order to qualify for a special event liquor permit, one has to be an incorporated Colorado non-profit corporation.
The permits cost $25 and application must be made 30 days in advance of the event. Other requirements: permission to use the premises and a diagram of the premises.
When does the City Council meet?
The 2nd and 4th Monday of the month at 5:00 p.m. in Council Chambers in City Hall. The latest Agenda is posted on our website.
When is the next City Council election?
The regular election is held on the first Tuesday after the first Monday in May in odd years.
The Mayor and two Council seats are up every two years.
How can I get a vending permit to sell things in the mall or in the parks?
Vending in public parks and right-of-way is prohibited by City ordinance unless a special vending agreement is approved.
Generally, agreements are approved for special events and not for commercial activity. Contact us for more information.
