
The Finance Department is responsible for administering all financial recordkeeping and reporting functions for the city.
This department also compiles and produces the fiscal budget, and financial statements for the city.
This department maintains debt and treasury management, internal audits, budget control, purchasing,
accounting activities, and general administrative functions. This department also provides support and
advice to other city departments, the city manager, and city council in matters related to financial issues,
policy and strategic planning. This department also oversees the financial activities of the Aspen/Pitkin
County Housing Authority.
