The administrative office of the Aspen Police Department is often a person's first contact with our department. The staff of this office handles all customer needs by serving those they can directly, or by referring people to appropriate departments. The office performs the following services to the public:
- Lost and found property
- Lost and found animals
- V.I.N. (Vehicle Identification Inspections) inspections
- Residential and Business Alarm applications, permits, and information
- Vacation Home Watch applications
- Ski and Bike registration
- Telephone Directory for weather and road conditions
- Colorado Drivers License manuals
- Dog tags
- Vehicles tows and releases
- APD statistical information
- Citizen Complaints
- General Safety and Law Enforcement Information
Additionally, our office staff provides all support services to our patrol, investigative and Community Safety divisions.
