The City of Aspen Street Department maintains the streets, alleys and storm drains to provide for safe and orderly travel within the city right-of-way for Aspen Pedestrians and vehicular traffic. We strive to provide the community with the best service available, within both budgetary and environmental limitations.

The Fleet Department is a separate organization within the Street Department. Aside from completing the vehicle preventative maintenance within the OEM Specification for each vehicle, they assist in the snow removal process and work closely with all departments in their fabrication and maintenance needs.
