How to pay or dispute a parking ticket

Ticket Payments:
You may pay a parking ticket via US Mail, or online. To pay a ticket in person please come to the Finance Window at City Hall or to the Parking Office, located at 540 East Main. To pay by mail please do so using the envelope provided with the ticket. Make checks or money orders payable to the City of Aspen and include the citation number and license plate number on the check. DO NOT MAIL CASH.

Ticket Disputes:
If you wish to protest a parking ticket you must complete and return a ticket dispute form. Forms are available at City Hall; by calling 970-920-5267; or by printing a copy from this link in English or Spanish. Disputes will not be handled in person or via the telephone.

Completed forms can be dropped off or mailed to City Hall addressed to City of Aspen ~ 130 S. Galena ~ Aspen, CO 81611. Forms can also be faxed to 970-920-7473. Parking tickets can also be disputed in Municipal court. If you would like to sign up for a court appearance you must appear in person at City Hall, 130 S. Galena.

The dispute process takes approximately two weeks and fines will not escalate during the review period. Dispute results will be mailed to the address provided on the form.
