Weed Advisory Board

Address noxious weed issues and ensures compliance with the Colorado Weed Management Act of 1990. Report and advise the Board of County Commissioners on developing a County Weed Management Plan. Develop a local noxious weed list that declares noxious weeds and any appropriate state noxious weeds designated by the Colorado Department of Agriculture to be subjected to integrated weed management. Develop a plan for the integrated management of these noxious weeds.

The Weed Board has 1 representative each from: the City of Aspen, Snowmass Village and 3 representatives from unincorporated Pitkin County. Each representative shall have been a resident of Pitkin County, Colorado for at least 1 year.
